Dear Members,

Welcome back to another exciting golf season! We’re thrilled to see so many familiar faces returning and are especially pleased with the strong increase in new memberships this year. To our newest members—welcome to the White Point Golf Club community! If you meet someone new on the course, please take a moment to say hello and thank them for joining us.

Facility Updates & Projects

The board remains focused on enhancing your golf experience. Recent and upcoming improvements include:

  • New tractor purchased for course maintenance
  • New shipping container for safe storage of chemicals and fertilizers
  • Pro Shop upgrades including a chemical toilet and double sink for staff use
  • Exterior painting of the Clubhouse—volunteers are welcome to assist!
  • Irrigation system upgrades underway
  • One new power cart arriving soon
  • Sand-Pro mechanical trap rake (pre-owned) added to the fleet
  • Gutters and fascia boards on the Clubhouse and Pro Shop to be replaced
  • Overflow parking area cleaned and improved
  • Maintenance shed decluttered for better safety and organization
  • New entrance sign designed and being installed
  • Tee box mower overhaul with refurbished reels

Tournaments & Events

We’re excited for another action-packed season of tournaments and weekly events:

  • Australian & New Zealand Match Play has been reformatted to encourage broader participation
  • Raddall Trophy (Men’s Club Opening) is scheduled for May 10—sign-up available at the Pro Shop
  • Men’s Night returns soon—please check with the Pro Shop for details
  • Ladies Night will also be starting soon. It’s a great opportunity to connect with other members in a relaxed, social format—watch for updates in the Pro Shop and online
  • Liverpool Invitational is fast approaching. A fourth division has been added this year to better manage power cart demand and increase scheduling flexibility.  This signature event brings golfers from across the province and showcases our course at its best. Many thanks in advance to all volunteers and sponsors for their support.

Digital Transformation

We’ve launched a completely new and revamped website, giving members and guests easier access to course information, news, event details, and more.

  • Other recent digital improvements include:
  • Live course webcam now featured on the website
  • Online tee time booking available for members and guests
  • Enhanced marketing through our Golf Management System tools
  • Consistent messaging across our Facebook page and digital channels

Course & Pro Shop News

  • The course continues to improve in both appearance and playability thanks to the energy and efforts of our grounds crew.
  • In the Pro Shop, new apparel is now available and early sales are strong. Thank you to our shop staff for maintaining a welcoming environment for all members and guests.

The many improvements across the course, clubhouse, and digital platforms are designed to create a more enjoyable, efficient, and connected experience for everyone. These changes not only support the long-term sustainability of the club but also reflect our commitment to providing the best possible environment for members, guests, and staff alike.
